Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing me to be your celebrant. I am committed to designing and conducting a meaningful, memorable and personalised ceremony for you.

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% of the ceremony cost is payable at the time of signing the booking agreement and booking my, The Tall Trees Celebrant (TTTC), services. This deposit confirms the date and the time for both parties. The remaining balance of 50% is due to be paid in full, six weeks prior to the ceremony date. Ceremonies booked within 6 weeks of the scheduled ceremony date will need to be paid in full to confirm booking.

Any deposits paid are non-refundable, however I always aim to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. I only ever perform one ceremony per day, so a postponement/change of date or time should be possible but I respectfully request that you check my availability first to avoid any scheduling complications.

For funerals I work to different timescales and generally payment is made via the Funeral Director. If this is not the case, clear plans will be drawn up between us.

My wedding ceremonies are NOT legally binding. You will need to have a civil ceremony at some stage of the process in order to be legally married. The legal registration can be done at any time, pre or post your ceremony with me.

If a cancellation is made by you within 6 weeks of the ceremony date, the entire fee as contracted will be due.

In the unfortunate and extremely unlikely event of illness/emergency I reserve the right to ask another celebrant to conduct your ceremony in replacement of myself.

TTTC maintains full copyright of the written ceremony but allows the couple to use it for their own personal use after the ceremony.

You will need to sign a GDPR consent form. This enables me to collect, process, keep and store personal data and to make contact, via email, text message, telephone or post, in line with UK GDPR legislation. Please see the Data Protection form for full details.

I respectfully asks to be granted permission to use any appropriate wedding photographs, testimonials, and your ceremony story for publicity purposes, including and not limited to publishing on websites, blog posts, Facebook and Instagram. Any objections regarding the use of images of the ceremony, please let me know in writing. I will respect and adhere to such requests.

I am happy for any photos in which I appear to be posted on social media.
