Wedding, hand-fasting, elopement or vow renewal. A host of styles, themes, curious quirks, funky or traditional are all very welcome! My wedding celebrant services can include an array of meaningful rituals, readings, music and anything you desire. The essence of my work focuses on you, your ceremony and your day of celebrating your love.
I will listen deeply to your wedding day hopes, wishes and ideas. I will design your ceremony and conduct it, instilling each moment of your story with warmth and delight. A sprinkling or large dose of humour or quirkiness is optional!

How it Works

Initial Conversation
A free and no obligation conversation, in-person is great or online/by telephone if you prefer. This will be an opportunity to express what you’re looking for, understand my services and ethos and for us to start to get to know each other. Being comfortable with your celebrant is important.
Following the initial conversation, a deposit payment is required to secure the date.

The First Consultation
An in-person meeting to discuss your wishes and plans in greater detail. Opportunity to connect further and ask any questions you may have.
Once the first consultation is complete I offer unlimited contact via phone, WhatsApp, e-mail, Zoom or further in-person meetings.

The Questionnaire
Approximately 3 months before your celebration date, I will send a questionnaire for you both to complete.
Ideally, it would be useful for you to complete the questionnaires individually and provide as full answers as possible.

Script Crafting
Approximately four to six weeks before your celebration date, I will craft your ceremony script
Support you to source readings/poems/music
Offer you support in vow writing
Plan rituals, that are meaningful to you
Craft rituals into to your ceremony
Remaining balance due at this stage.

Editing & Co-ordinating
Unlimited edits to your ceremony script
Contact with venue, key wedding professionals, wedding coordinators, musicians etc
A ceremony rehearsal (if you require one)

The Big Day
I will arrive at the venue at least one hour before your ceremony begins, and officiate your wedding.
I will check and double-check everything is in place for your ceremony.
I am happy to support your pre-ceremony nerves if required.
After your wedding day, you will receive a full copy of the ceremony script.

Script Support
Price on Enquiry
Ceremony prices include the design and conduct of the ceremony. With all fees, I cover mileage up to a one-hour drive radius from Stroud, for meet-ups and venue visits and on-the-day travel to your ceremony. Journeys above this distance will incur a mileage charge of 45 pence per mile. Bank holidays are charged at the Friday - Sunday rate. In addition to the above, I offer script design for family members or friends who wish to lead a ceremony in place of an official celebrant. Prices on enquiry.
The Legal Bit
If you wish to get legally married, a licensed registrar must officiate the exchange of vows and document signing. There are a few options as to how you can go about this:
1: The registrar can come to your approved venue and deliver a ceremony.
2: A small ceremony can be delivered at the register office, followed by the larger ceremony at the venue of your choosing with a wedding celebrant.
3: A registration of marriage at the register office with two witnesses present, followed by the larger ceremony at the venue of your choosing with a wedding celebrant.
The third option is popular amongst couples choosing a celebrant-led wedding, as it's the simplest and most budget friendly way of getting legal! Subsequently, allowing you all the vast freedoms you’d like with your ceremony and celebrations.
